In 2023 Macquarie Energy were selected By Fletcher International to Install a Large commercial PV solar system coupled with a 535kwh Commercial Battery.

Fletcher International Grain terminal is a state-of-the-art facility receiving a wide variety of commodities, Macquarie Energy were able to work in and around the site with no impact to Fletcher’s Day to day operations. The system itself is utilised for Day time peak load limiting & the battery completes peak shaving of loads in peak periods to reduce the sites demand charges.
Macquarie Energy delivered this project incident free; part of our protective safety application was to use netting around the perimeter of the structures roof to catch any falling objects, Fenced of work zones at ground level. Clear inductions for both the ME team and Fletcher international’s employees which ensured all personnel on site were aware of the project and potential risks.
